blague

[blahg] (noun)

1. a joke or piece of nonsense

She called it a blog, but really it was a blague.

Origin: French, meaning “joke” or “tall tale".” Often used to disguise sincerity with style.

The Blague is my digital shoebox full of feelings, scraps, and thoughts I can’t seem to throw out. You’ll find quasi-sermons, unsolicited advice, and core samples pulled from emotional sediment and the Bravo plot lines that formed it.

Welcome to the blague!

(fine, the blog)
